6/23/1991 - Sunday

Kari says:  that when mommy opens the cabinet door Dad’s favorite chips fall down on his head.  On a walk with Daddy when Daddy was talking to another camper from Colorado, Kari found a small spider that had a very neat round web.

John:  We drove 195 miles today mostly following the Skeena River -This area we covered today looked a lot like Colorado... A lot of Yanks at this campground all going on the ferry to Alaska.  Nice campground - a lot of nice trails through the thick dark forest.  We walked to the docks next to the ferry slips & looked at a lot of fishing boats.  We also asked if we could go aboard a Canadian Coast Guard boat (56 ft).  The crew gave us a tour of the boat & gave us cookies & apple juice.  We are looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning.  We got to Prince Rupert around noon - the weather was overcast all day.

ODOM:  26487

Susan:  We saw Bald Eagles when we were driving to our camp ground.  I can’t wait till the ferry boat ride.
